A tribute to Röntgen

Today 115 years go a German physics professor Wilhelm Röntgen stumbled on X-rays while experimenting with Lenard and Crookes tubes.

Thanks to this guy now we can see what caused my dog bandit the excruciating pain he felt after jumping from my bed to the floor (about 2' high).

Mind you he is a Jack Russell Chihuahua mix. Not that big although he thinks he's bigger than anyone around, and Jack Russell supposedly a smart breed, but I think the Chihuahua in him kinda lower his overall intelligence.

this is a second attempt to blog. i stopped 'blogging' more than two years ago. don't exactly remember what was the reason. all i can remember was my wife (then girlfriend) who complained a lot about my blog's name: dim corner. here is the thing, choosing a name for anything is a big deal in our culture. call it superstitious but it seems having the right name such as victorious light or prosperous fertile inc, is almost a guarantee for a successful enterprise. a confidence booster borderline delusional that we cannot fail, because we are after all the 'golden eternal profit group'.

now, pan back to dim corner. and compare that to the few examples i mentioned above. i can understand why she complains about dim corner but keeps hinting me to go back and update my corner.

well, unknowingly to her, i made this new blog. believe it or not, its actually the meaning of my full name. so, this little light that shine is now a grand noble light. am i superstitious? no im not. just embracing my heritage.
